James and Marco, the hostel owners, were incredibly welcoming and kind. They even picked me up from the bus station for free. the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist and help you plan your trip. the beds were comfortable, the hot water worked well, and the atmosphere was very quiet for a peaceful sleep. the breakfast, although modest, was prepared individually at the time of your choice, even if you were leaving early for the national park. the hostel was conveniently located, only a 7-minute walk to the central area and about 15-20 minutes to the main bus terminal.
Felt very well, no complaints whatsoever.

the staff were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay more enjoyable.
The hostel was freezing, with inadequate heating arrangements on the first floor. We had to keep the door open just to get our room to warm up a bit.

We stayed at Hostel 53 Sur for our Patagonia adventures and it was a fantastic base. James, the host, was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hostel is small but cosy, clean, and very comfortable. The hot breakfast James cooked was delicious and the common areas were warm. The showers had hot water and the hostel felt secure. It's only a 10-minute walk to the bus station and a short distance to the shops. We met many friendly travelers here and felt at home. Highly recommended!
Would recommend this hotel.

We had a really pleasant stay at 53 Sur. the hosts were friendly and welcoming, and they even let us leave our luggage for free for two weeks. the breakfast provided was excellent and the kitchen was fully equipped. Despite the bathroom being a bit cold, the shower was warm. it was mostly clean and the atmosphere in the hostel was nice. We would have loved to stay longer. Cons: Don't have any issues at all. 👍.

The location of the hostel is convenient, being close to the bus station and touristy places. the 4 person dorm provides comfortable and cozy beds with warm blankets. the kitchen is well-equipped and useable, making it easy to prepare meals.
The hostel only has two bathrooms, which can result in waiting times for showering or using the facilities.

Freshly cooked breakfast every morning was a great start to the day. The helpful and friendly staff made our stay enjoyable. Conveniently located near the bus station, making it easy to explore the area.
The rooms were small and cramped, with outdated mattresses and pillows that were not comfortable. The limited number of toilets caused long waits, which was frustrating.

Friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts made individually on request, and a good vibe in the communal areas. Additionally, the location was convenient, being just a short walk from the bus station.
Limited number of bathrooms and small private rooms with minimal space for luggage. The lack of keys for the front door resulted in frequent disruptions from guests ringing the doorbell.
